SVP; Business Banking Strategy Executive

MICHAEL W. LUTZ is a Business Banking Strategy Executive supporting the go-to-market approach and growth initiatives. In this capacity, Mike and his team are responsible for leading efforts inclusive of client segmentation, portfolio strategy, digital engagement strategy, local market strategy, and specialist planning. Additionally, Mike is responsible for the Business Banking 3-year strategic plan and all Board and executive deliverables.

Previously, Mike was in the office of the CAO as the Business Support & Operations Executive and as the Business & Strategy Support Executive for the Local Markets Organization. Within Local Markets, Mike’s work supported Market Presidents, Market Sponsors, and Market Executives in their responsibilities to deliver for our clients, employees, and communities in each local market we serve.

Mike has also served as a Senior Relationship Manager in the Global Commercial Bank, within credit products in the Media and Telecom group of the Corporate Bank, and as a financial services consultant for PwC.

Michael received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Tufts University and his MBA from Boston University. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
